Grace is a registered patent agent specializing in the drafting and prosecution of hardware patents. She came to Fearn from Mintz, and before that Morrison & Foerster, where she prosecuted US utility and design patents across robotics and mechanical systems, electronic devices, electric vehicles, aviation, materials, medical devices, and machine learning.
Grace is a mechanical and aerospace engineer by training, with a materials science background. At Princeton’s Space Physics Group she built flight-instrument test infrastructure for NASA’s IMAP mission: ultra-high-vacuum systems, ion beam line simulation, and thin-film deposition of ultra-thin carbon foils for the SWAPI solar wind instrument.
Grace holds a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
